iNTEL motherboard components and SUSE 7.0
How do I get SUSE 7.0 to properly work with: iNTEL 82801AA (disk) chipset with UDMA66 capability Perhaps this is just a matter of enabling UDMA66.. ? iNTEL 82559 10/100M (ethernet) chipset Regardless of the driver I choose, I cannot get an integrated "network card" (motherboard) with this chipset to work with the stuff bundled with 7.0 (I have tried the latest modules disks too AFAIK) - HELP!

Yepp, it's just a matter of enabling. To check if it works, just do an 'hdparm -d1' as root. Doing 'hdparm -t /dev/hdX' (where X is the letter of the disk you want to check) before and after enabling DMA should show you if it works.

This is the inBusiness Chip. According to the source, the eepro100 driver should be able to handle it. -- Penguins to save the dinosaurs -- Handelsblatt on Linux for S/390

I have not been able to get this to work. It seems to detect it as such when installing.. but I cannot get it to work. Disabling the motherboard resource and adding a "real" EEPRO-card from iNTEL (albeit OEM) works fine.. ?!?!?! It would be _really_ nice to get the on-board chip to work.. :: Who dares wins ::
