Reza, do not worry how the NetWare boxes are configured. As stated before, make sure ncpfs support is enabled (either in the kernel or as a module), make sure package ncpfs is installed, and then peruse man ncpmount. Have you tried an ncpmount against the NW 4.11 server? If so, what results did you get? --Moby They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -- Benjamin Franklin First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Last time I checked (and its been quite a while) you had to enable netware 3.x emulation in the netware 4 server to get it to show up for ncpfs.
Maybe NOW this will get fixed.

ncpfs is enabled by stock kernel Suse-9.1, userland util is install (rpm). when i try to mount with ncpmount #ncpmount -S NW411 -U admin /mnt Login into NW411 as ADMIN Password: ncpmount: Server not found (0x8847)when trying to find NW411 But i did succesfully in Netware-3.11 Server. How to solve and debug this problem regards reza

Did you try the -4 parameter on the ncpmount command? Documentation implies that might be needed for a NDS authentication. Also some bits f the documentation suggest that if you access using IP only you need the -A parameter as well as the -S parameter. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
Couple of things: 1) Is the IPX ethernet frame type on your NW411 server the same as that on your NW 3X server? 2) Change the -U admin to -U <fdn of the admin account>.
