Hi all
I have a SuSE 6.3 Linux box. I want to turn it into a full multimedia linux box. For this purpose, I am planning to use: a Web Cam: Kodak DVC325 Digital camera, and a Mic Can somebody tell me if SuSE Linux supports this type of Web Cam, and what main procedures are necessary for both recording video and sound.
Thanks a lot in advance

Kodak is a terrible company. They got no open source strategy period. I got a DVC 323 (from 2.5 yrs ago) and I regret I ever fed Kodak a dime.
There is no drivers for the DVC in Linux. I don't understand why this huge company so blatantly ignores us. It's especially upsetting when you listen to their conference calls and they tout themselves so entrepreneurial and focusing on digital tech. It's surprising people got the DC series working.......
Don't tell us ... tell THEM!! :-)
