It is not a FAQ, but SuSE does keep an archive of all of the mailing list posts at http://list.suse.com. If someone really believes a FAQ is appropriate, perhaps they can take the
time and effort to compile it from the archives.

Hi,
Has anyone compiled a FAQ type of thing from the questions asked on the list. (other than the offical SuSE FAQ). If so coudl that person either mail it to the list or directly to me to save SuSE's bandwidth ( I would imagine it would be a big one)

Hi, I am exploring SSL and multi-platform certificate issues. I found the Gandalf product at Thawte.com and it looks like it may be able to help put my own keys and certificates onto my WinNT4.0 IIS boxes. But there are not many details on the web site. Is there anyone who has any experience with Gandalf? Or with VICE? Can I use Gandalf on SuSE7.1? Thank you for any information or pointers yo umight have. Hello, I have one big big grief about the SuSE's archives (which, BTW, are at http://lists.suse.com). They aren't searchable! Just browseable. It's silly! When I'm looking for something, I don't want to browse the complete list from December 1997. If I'm mistaken, please tell me. In the meantime, Geocrawler mirror this list, and you can search this archive: http://www.geocrawler.com/lists/3/Suse-Linux/292/0/ Best regards, David Garnier Le Vendredi 16 Novembre 2001 17:03, James Bliss a écrit :

Yes, but there is no free search engines ATM that can handle the amount of data. Been there, tried it. -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort." -- A. P. J.

Sorry, I didn't tough that you were getting this much traffic. Still, a little link to the Geocrawler mirror or a similar one would be nice. Best regards, David Garnier

Yeah, that'd be cool. :)
But I want to mention that as soon as there will exist a search engine capable of handling the site, it _will_ be made. Of course. -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort." -- A. P. J.

Please read the FAQ before calling us silly. Do you have any idea how much it costs to put google on your site? -- -ckm
Who needs google? Simply web-interface to "find . -exec grep <user input>..." (I won't try to flog InterMedia.) Dave. Christopher Mahmood wrote:
