After a while I got my SuSE 7.0, I never use it for new instalation, cause I was updated my 6.4 system...
But yesterday, I used new instalation with YaST1 in my other computer. I'm so surprised that it never ask root password for the first time instalation. Is this a bug from SuSE 7.0 ? It works well in YaST2.
Did you install package "alice"? The root password should be "blank" then. This is a bug in the postinstall from alice. The german SDB article is already online (try Babelfish to translate it): http://sdb.suse.de/de/sdb/html/sdummer_alice.html <p>Bye, LenZ -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Lenz Grimmer SuSE GmbH mailto:grimmer@suse.de Schanzaeckerstr. 10 http://www.suse.de/~grimmer/ 90443 Nuernberg, Germany Pain is a part of all life.
