[SLE] a way to copy evolution addressbooks
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has a good idea to copy evolution addressbooks (plural, I created some to organize contacts) from one 10.1 machine to another, or even one user to another in the same machine. My environment is Gnome and Evolution 2.6.0. I searched the archive and found the config was under "~/.gconf/apps/evolution/addressbook". But I'm not smart enough to completely decipher the xml script in "%gconf.xml", which seems to contain the addressbook config. Thanks, Toshi

I have just migrated my Evolution contacts to Kontact by saving them as Vcards, which Kontact can import. I assume you could do the same to move to another Evolution. The only snag was that I had to create each Vcard separately, there does not seem to be a bulk save. Thanks Andy, I didn't realize this way. It works! -Toshi On Mon, 2006-07-10 at 10:40 +1000, Andy Goss wrote:
