[opensuse] Knetworkmanager-kde & vpnc
Hello, When using vpnc to connect to my company's VPN, things are working fine. However, when I try to go through Knetwork-manager interface, it doesn't work. I use Edit connections -> New connection -> VPN -> vpnc and fill in the requested information, but when I select "Start VPN connection, on the first attempt I am asked my group and user password but then, nothing happens. It doesn't tell me if there is anything wrong, if I am connected or not (although I can see I am not by browsing to secure pages). Now, if I run "vpnc myVPN.conf", it works fine. Is there a way to get knetworkmanager logs? How can I know what's wrong? I thought it was only an interface to vpnc... kill the NetworkManager and $ sudo NetworkManager --no-daemon

Thank you for your answer, but I found the solution thanks to this post: http://worldofxor.blogspot.com/2009/01/vpnc-and-kde3-knetworkmanager-in.html After having done what is advised, I switched to networkmanager-gnome that has, I believe, a much better interface.
