Subject: PostgreSQL changes from 6.4 to 7.0 (where's the INIT script?)
Hi,
I've not been able to find the init script for PostgreSQL in SuSE 7.0, I mean
which was /sbin/init.d/postgres in SuSE 6.4. I've not found postgresrc
binary, script or something similar... I've seen that package names and some
package contents have changed from 6.4 to 7.0.
I've installed postgres rpm so, please, if I need to install some other
aditional packages let me know because I've not been able to start PostgreSQL
services in this machine and it's very important as long as I've been using
postgres for every DB application I've wrote.
tormind:~ # rpm -q postgres
postgres-7.0.2-31
stormind:~ # rpm -qa | grep pg
pg_lib-7.0.2-31
Sooo pleaaaase, pleeaaase, help meeeeee...
Thanks in advance,
