[S.u.S.E. Linux] trouble with majordomo on S.u.S.E. 5.0
hello everybody ! I'd like to install majordomo to have mailing-lists on our LAN (70 hosts), and I installed the mdomo.rpm package (I have S.u.S.E. 5.0 - changing to 5.2 on Saturday :-), read the manpage, and started to set things up (in /etc/aliases, I guess that's right). Now, when I start "wrapper config-test", I have some errors (access problems)... I changed it by making a "system" group, which includes the user "mdomo", and which can write in /usr, /usr/lib, etc... When I mail to Majordomo@tabatha (that's the Linux server), I get an error from the mail handler: unknown account... Did I forget something ? (btw: maybe I still have access problems to some directories, but I should at least get an error from Majordomo, shouldn't I ?) thanX for your help... Pascal l'irréductible Linuxien ---hardcore-joke---don't-read-this-if-your-English--- m$ asked the Royal Family (of GB, of course) to call its windoze 98 "Windows Diana", because: it's superficially attractive, it consumpts much ressources, and it crashes badly... p.s.: don't take this personally, please... it's just a joke -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
