Maybe the info pages should be converted to man pages so people can find them.
You can find Info pages with the `info' tool. You can find `man' pages with the `man' tool. Better learn the names of these tools (the names are pretty easy to remember) than convert and shuffle over a lot of documents.
Possibly a switch in Suse config can set HELP_SOURCE [man|info|...] then the appropriate pages can be produced.
Converting an Info manual into a `man' page would loose most of the structural information, as well as navigating facility. This is rarely a way to go. This is a bit like if you were asking that Netscape had an option to transform any Web page into a `man' page before displaying it: you might end up loosing something. Conversion for conversion, you might have better luck turning `man' pages into Web pages :-).
I've looked at a few info pages and the formatting is terrible. I much prefer the look of a man page.
The Info approach is usually much better. You should analyse exactly
why you do not like the formatting, and raise specific gripes. (A mere
statement of a general impression is not productive.) If you think the
presentation of Info format might be improved, it might be worth telling.
I'll forward to Karl Berry
