Interesting fact - thanks for reporting. I really wonder what they are doing? Mgetty is not broken by itself, but this is the second vendor that manages to a) ship a very old version (1.1.22 is nearly a year old and has known security issues) and b) manages to break something that has been working "out of the box" on Linux since ever.
