[SLE] Best CD for TTFonts?
Hello, which CD is best (easy) for grabbing TTFonts? MS is offering many fonts only in the ttfont.exe format for Win98, not Win 3.1 . So I can't unlock them. And I have a pure Linux install. I would like to pop in a CD and grab some. I am in Moscow, Russia, so can't purchase those TTFont CDS. But ... As I stated earlier, I can purchase MS2000, Word, Adobe for a few bucks here in Moscow, Russia. They sell all these CDs on the market for basically nothing. (This is bad for Linux by the way. MS is everywhere, since for a few bucks, a Russian can purchase Corel, PageMaker, Photoshop, MS2000, MSOffice Suite, you name it.) Hi George, Hi everyone. You say that you can get Corel? Well use that. Not only are the fonts good quality they convert well to Type 1 too so that you can print. Hello, Corel what? Photopaint? So if I understand correctly, I can actually pull the fonts off this CD using Linux. George Fri, 18 Feb 2000, ÷Ù ÎÁÐÉÓÁÌÉ:

Can you get the Bitstream 500 Font CD at a reasonable price in Moscow? It has lots of fonts in both TrueType and Adobe Type 1.
