Hi, When I try to start the gnome applet "dictionary lookup" I get a message box telling me that /opt/gnome2/libexec/gdict-applet is missing (true). It is not in the CD. Does it have another name? Has SuSE forgotten to supply it? This is suse 8.2, stock gnome. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson

I notice that on the SuSE 8.2 disk is a package called gnome-utils and within that is a program entitled 'gnome-dictionary' that is placed in /opt/gnome2/bin. Perhaps this can do the trick for you. -- I'm leaving my body to science fiction. ---------------------------------------------------------------- SuSE 8.2 - KDE 3.1.3

No, it's a different thing. The one I'm looking for is an applet (gdict-apple), and that one is a stand alone appplication (that works correctly, yes). -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
