Hi, I am obviously missing something - can someone more enlightened advice me? Am running a vanilla 7.0. I modified /etc/lilo.conf and 'deault message' to remove the message which says "windows -> boot windows" (as only boot windows when away with children for games) yet the initial message remains on boot up. Where is it being read from as well so that I can alter it or should I automagically update it elsewhere by doing gomething else? Many thanks Francesco -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

After modifying /etc/lilo.conf have rerun /sbin/lilo to have your new settings get affected
Many thanks
