Hi to all I just installed SuSE 7.3 and my machine boots directly to runlevel 5 (Xwindows) I would like to know if boot messages generated when I startup the machine (kernel, scripts and everything) are copied or logged somewhere, so I can review them and check everything is ok.... These messages appear in tty1, but i cannot browse this screen with SHIFT-PgUP, as previous versions (i think its due to the graphic presentation used) ... Thank you -------------------------------------------------------- Juan Francisco Torres Ch.

/var/log/boot.msg -- Non enim propter gloriam, diuicias aut honores pugnamus set propter libertatem solummodo quam Nemo bonus nisi simul cum vita amittit.

/var/log/boot.msg
Typing: dmesg | less will probably tell you what you want to know, but for sure /var/log/boot.msg has even more detail. - Robert Storey
