Hi Bob, Installing kernel-source should be as simple as: sudo zypper in kernel-source And furthermore, installing the current NVIDIA driver should be as simple as using a 1-click install[0]. I hope that helps (sorry for not directly answering your question). h [0] http://opensuse-community.org/nvidia.ymp -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

It is here: http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.0/kernel-source-2.6.25.18-0.2.i586.rp... so you can use YaST and ask in Search field for kernel-source it will list you all available. If you use command line then you have answer by Henare. BTW, if you often call programs that require root password, it is easier to open console and switch user with: su - It will ask you for password once ;-) After that: yast2& or zypper in kernel-sources or whatever you want. I use sudo very seldom. Typing password all the time is not my favorite fun. Though, I watch carefully what user account I'm using. It was learned hard way. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
