6. Having installed all packages I get an error. A dialog is telling me this: "Error while initialize package descriptions. Check the log file /var/log/y2log."
I had the same error many times when I try to install over the network. I've tried via FTP, NFS, HTTP and I always get the same error. Now I'm downloading Suse 8.0 from the Suse FTP because I think maybe my CDs have some error. Next, I'll share it in my internal network and try to install using it. Maybe I'll give up and get back to 7.3 which never give me critical errors during installing (and I installed a lot of times usign several methods like: from CD, from FTP, from NFS, and using diferents machines and network cards).
