Re: [opensuse] Daylight Savings Time and Suse 9.x and 10.0
Thank you for the response. So what file can be modified on the 9.1 & 9.2 machines to get them on the new DST standard?
Many thanks,
~James
You can use the updated /etc/localtime file from your 9.3 system and copy it to your 9.1/9.2 boxes. We used a 9.3 updated zone file on a very old SuSE 6.4 system without issue. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

So, I should be able to copy from my 10.2 to 10.0 system? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

There is also an update for Sun Java on Sun's site... Apparently Sun Java has some issues with DST2007 too. We also have already published SUN and IBM Java updates via Online Update to fix their DST issues. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, but you do not need to: normal security updates (YOU) will do whatever is needed. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Well, apparently for me and someone else, it didn't. I had to change the timezone for the change to take effect on my 10.0 firewall, though it was updated on two 10.2 systems. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
