Hi, Anybody around who got the lacie etherdisk-500 properly working with linux? According to the sales-spec, it should be working with M$, apple and linux. The box has an Gb lan interface offering ftp & web interface. The usb2 port works properly under M$-XP, but under linux, the usb-interface is not usable. The lsusb command doesn't show anything: it freezes rock solid. (can not kill it) Tried it on several 10-1 systems. One might say: well its just another M$-appliance, but the tragic truth is, that LaCie has a Linux-2.6 system build in it, but won't work with linux ;-( HtH, Hans -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
