[SLE] Wireless NIC's on Linux

Has anyone had any experience with Wireless NIC's on SuSE...
In Particular the PCI versions of these cards...

I bought three Web Aviator PCMCIA cards several months ago and ISA
card readers for the two desktops. I was using SuSE 6.4 then and
needed to download and install the ray_cs and card services packages.
It took 3-4 hours to get the SuSE 6.4 desktop and Slackware 4.0 laptop
talking to each other. It took another couple of hours to get the
Win95 desktop working, mostly waiting for reboots instead of reading
docs, configuring, and compiling.
With SuSE 7.0, all the necessary software was included. I just
editted the configuration file and was back on line.
These are 2MBps cards. Surfing the Web is as fast as every (cable
modem connection is the bottleneck). Backups take 3 hours instead of
less than one.
Three cards and two readers cost approx. 450 US dollars. Supported
10-11Mbps cards (WaveLAN) are 500 USD for two.
