[opensuse] setting delimiters for importing text csv in openoffice/libreoffice calc/spreadsheet
Hello: I would like to set the delimiters for txt csv import in libreoffice calc as: newline for next column, empty line for next row. For example the text file looks like: aaaa bbbb cccc dddd eeee fffff This should be imported into the table as: aaaa|bbbb|cccc dddd|eeee|fffff How to set the delimiters for this? I don't think you can import that directly. I would use tr and/or sed to
massage the data first. Maybe something like this:
tr '\n' ','
