Some people don't want to understand that most trade is done in English, followed by Chinese and thirdly Spanish. And yes this is an ENGLISH list. Fran, it would help more if you give the right directions instead reacting that way. Please keep our openSUSE Guiding Principles in mind so we can guide some people to the right place. Thanks. This is an English only Mailing list. So every post should be done in that language. For your convinience there is a Spanish Mailing list to subscribe and getting general support : opensuse-es+subscribe@opensuse.org Regards, -- Ricardo Chung | Panama openSUSE Linux Ambassador openSUSE 11.4 | KDE 4.7 | Mesa-Nouveau 3D Linux for Education -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Wrong! This is the main user-support mailing list, the _DEFAULT_ list, and thus, it's the default for all that _do not_ have a more specialized list. As there is e.g. no opensuse-is, -no, -fi, -in (meant to be e.g. hindi) etc., discussions in those "other languages" are on-topic here. Of course, the OP should try some english (as this list _is_ using english as "lingua franca"), those who speak the language and can answer should add a short explanation as courtesy for those not speaking the language in question, and apart from that, one can only hope there's someone at all on this list to translate (or one who knows that on some other list there's someone who speaks whichever language is called for, e.g. someone on this list knows that someone on -de knows Kisuaheli (or whatever, and no, there's no one that I know of on -de ;)). Iff there is a better list (in this case: opensuse-es), the user should _kindly_ be directed to that list. HTH, HAND, -dnh PS: Back when opensuse-de was suse-linux and opensuse was suse-linux-en, we on -de got all those mails. Well great! YOU go ahead and get back on that list and do that for all the non-English posts that try to end up here, okay? not said, at least in the english wiki (http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Communication_channels#Mailing_lists) I added this: "This list is usually in english, any other language may not be understood by readers." feel free to change if you have a better wording. jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://pizzanetti.fr -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

What is your problem exactly - being mono-lingual? We hardly ever get any posts here in other languages but English, not a big problem imho. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (8.9°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Also being "mono-lingual" should not be a problem. There are "ok" translaters on line. And if that's not enough, there are allot of people on this list that can explain what is being said, if you are "nice" about asking.
