-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I am using the mldonkey that ships w/ver. 9 Pro and it has suddenly started generating a msg when a search is attempted (since yesterday): "Your client is too old and has bad network behavior. Please upgrade!" I have no clue as to why that suddenly appeared but I would say that the URL is totally bogus: 'ed2k://|file|Your client is too old and has bad network behavior. Please upgrade !|987987987|22222222222222222222222222222222|/ ' Can somebody tell me what is going on, here? Thanks... - -- ...CH Avoid doing business with 'The Link' ISP. Grab a more up to date version at: http://mldonkey.berlios.de/modules.php?name=Downloads Don't use kmldonkey, get g2gui at the same place. In the mldonkey distribution there is a Mozilla ed2k protocol handler in the subdirectory ed2k_mozilla. Add this to mozilla and then search using: http://www.filedonkey.com/ And clicking on the links. Make sure you have TCP and UDP firewall holes for allowing edonkey and overnet holes. Read this thread. http://www.ckyforums.com/index.php?showtopic=4096 By the way, mldonkey (mlnet) is much better than the gnutellas. Best Regards. -- _/_/_/ Bob Pearson gottadoit@mailsnare.net _/_/_/ "The best way to get information on Usenet is not to ask a _/_/_/ question, but to post the wrong information." - Aahz' Law
