In windows, I could do start/run and then type \\servername(or iP address)\sharename and it would (if needed) prompt me to authenticate, and then open an explorer window. Is there a "quick and simple" method like this in SUSE10 for gettting at shared files? I have a windows based NAS box at work ...... it has a folder shared using both SMB and NFS protocols. I want to get to it. How do I go about this? TIA for any assistance! Peter

most excellent, thank you Don!
You can also put a link to it on your desktop by creating a "Link To Location" and specifying the above as the url. I find this pretty handy. Greg Wallace
