[opensuse] How to customize default KDE3 session in openSUSE?
Hello: I would like to customize the default opensuse KDE3 session, which is produced for the user at firts login. I would like to change default background, theme, colors, font-type and size, panel etc. I looked which files belong to kdebase3-session package but could not find out which ones should be tweaked or replaced. Could anyone help with this, please? Thanks, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

i still use KDE3 because i know HOW to use it...since you don't i'd highly recommend instead of learning KDE3 and then having to relearn KDE4 or something else (KDE3 is NOT installed in 11.2 or after), just skip learning anything about KDE3....if you don't like the way it looks then give GNOME, XFCE, KDE4, or some other desktop environment a try... just my two cents... however, if you MUST: then just find Menu > Personal Settings Configure Desktop and have a ball.. dd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Sorry, I haven't explained clear what I wanted: I do know how to customize my own session. What I want is to customize the default KDE3 skeleton on which a newly created session for a user is based. That is when a user logs into KDE3 at the firts time the session would look according to the tweaked settings and to SUSE's default. I hope I could make it clear. Any hint? This above should look like: I do know how to customize my own session. What I want is to customize the default KDE3 skeleton on which a newly created session for a user is based. That is when a user logs into KDE3 at the first time the session would look according to the tweaked settings and NOT to SUSE's default. I hope I could make it clear. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
