[opensuse] wacom graphire 4
Hi I've searched for information on the opensuse HCL but can't find if my wacom graphire 4 will work with 11.3 It worked perfectly with 11.2 but needed sax2 to be recognised. Now, in 11.3 there sems to be no support for graphic tablets. Anyone any ideas? Thanks. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

11.3 has been out (public) for ONE full day now. It is quite possible that HCL has not been completely updated for all know hardware yet :^). -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I found this post on the forum that at least makes it seem possible: == I just installed M7 on a laptop with a Synaptcs touchpad and I discovered that tapping didn't work because it was disabled in KDE by default. I was able to enable it under Configure Desktop > Keyboard and Mouse, so check there. Before you do that, tho', go to YaST and make sure the wacom-kmp modules are installed for your kernel... == Copied from http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-help-here/pre-release-beta/439448-11-... And I just found this unofficial review of one the 11.3 RC releases where the user is claiming imporvied Wacom support. http://www.bitzenbytes.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=printview&t=6759&start=0 Your best bet may be to download a live CD and try it.
