Hello, well I purchased CorelDraw 9 for 225 rubles. At 28 rubles per dollar, that cost me $8 . Ouch! But the fonts are not so obvious by name, so I want to view them. Just great, no font viewer! It's like the never ending nightmare. SuSE is really lacking in TrueType font support. Just downloaded gfontview. Hope it works. Hello, I downloaded the rpm for gfontview. Installed it via YAST. Where is it? I found the doc files, but they don't give a clue as to the name or place of installation of the file. I did a find -name "gfontview*.*" and only turned up the README stuff George -- My personal website http://www.firstnethou.com/gz/welcome.htm -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

Do a `rpm -ql gfontview' (replace the gfontview with the name of the rpm). This gives you a list of all files contained in the rpm. If you do a `rpm -ql gfontview |grep bin' you should find the executable. Hi, sure this is a very repeated question but ..., why SuSE dont have a xfstt package? -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

Well, when we discussed the inclusion of True Type support (about two or three releases ago), we were sure that XFree86 4.0 will be finished shortly. We wanted to base on that, since it will have true type font support built in without the need for kludges. However, 4.0 has been delayed so many times and therefore the TT support is still missing. As a temporary workaround, xfstt will most likely be included in 6.4... Hey LenZ Give us a break. All night trying to get soffice to print ttf's is just too much. And Juergen will vouch for that. And my girlfriend told me so! Go on. Tell us the secret.
