[SLE] How to re-scan SCSI bus
Hi, Can anyone tell me if there is a command to force a re-scan of the SCSI bus to identify devices switched on after boot-up (it is a document scanner in my case, which is not often needed so is usually switched off). I'm using rescan-scsi-bus.sh script and I put it into my boot.local to properly recognize my DVD ROM player. On www.freshmeat.net recently there was scsiadd-1.2.tar.gz which does exactly what you want. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
