Hello friends, I am having troubles with suexec in running on Apache (SuSE 8.0, Apache 1.3). I am trying to print the date from a HTML file including the following line: Today's (<!--#exec cmd="date +'%a %e %b %Y, %H.%M'" -->)<br> It works OK when I place this file in the DocumentRoot directory... But actually I need this to work inside a user directory: http://hostname/~username/myfile.html So when it is executed in the user directory I get the following errors in /var/log/httpd/suexec.log: [2002-11-02 22:11:30]: info: (target/actual) uid: (pep/pep) gid: (users/users) cmd: date +'%a %e %b %Y, %H.%M' [2002-11-02 22:11:30]: error: cannot stat program: (date +'%a %e %b %Y, %H.%M') What am I doing wrong? Cheers!!!

Hello friends, http://hostname/~username/myfile.html
configured by suse_public_html (by default)
cmd: date +'%a %e %b %Y, %H.%M' [2002-11-02 22:11:30]: error: cannot stat program: (date +'%a %e %b %Y, %H.%M')
What am I doing wrong?
IIRC suse_public_html has IncludesNoExec set -- Togan Muftuoglu Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer http://dinamizm.ath.cx
I forgot to mention that I modified suse_public_html so it allows ssi:
