Hi I've had this problem of my SuSE 7.3 that it locks up the keyboard and the mouse, after a logoff (just sometimes, 1 out of 10 times maybe). No response from the keyboard whatsoever in KDM, pressing numlock => no change in light status. ( If I recall correctly, my PC had this behavior with both XDM and GDM but I'm not quite sure...) Now the only recover from this state for me was to find another PC on the LAN, logonto my PC and take it down to init 3 (and then backagain to init 5), or the lazy method: reset button ;-( Tonight it froze just when I was to just log off and power down... so me being tiered, I desided to just turn the god-dammed computer off. The power switch needs to be held in for a few seconds, but when I pressed it now I noticed that the LEDs on the keyboard flashed, so aborting my plans of a power down, I tried the keyboard and behold... it worked (then I logged on and startet writing this). Has someone got a clue what can be wrong?
