Hi, I've been playing a couple of games on Linux and I can't seem to get them to recgnise my joystick (can't rememeber what it is but I think itis fairly standard) ... how do I enable it? Is there any way I can check its functionality outside of a game? James C. What version of SuSE Linux do you use? With 8.0 you can configure the joysticks while configuring the soundcard using Yast2 or you can edit /etc/sysconfig/joystick. With jstest /dev/input/js0, you can test the (first) joystick. On Friday 12 July 2002 12:19, James.Rocks@equant.com wrote:

Playing games? Then you surely are not on company time or equipment. Please trim the sig. That is ridiculous to a public list. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org
