Hi ye SuSE'rs
I have recently discovered this wonderful program wget and I really love it,
but I have a hard time figuring out how to get it to do some things that I
assume that it is capable of:
* What command to use if I want to fetch a HTML file plus all grafics that
belong to it?
* And if I want it to get a folder/directory or a bunch of files (fex. a book
only available in several files)?
* Finally; is it possible to give wget a path to put the files in?
Thank's in advance,
Helgi Örn
PS: I did mail this message to the wget mailing list but there was no one
there...:-(

hi well, wget is quite nice, but does not support threads or anything like that. there is a client called lftp, available on freshmeat. it is also a ftp client. supports threads, i actually downloaded almost the entire securityfocus.com site with it ;) it is also quite fast compared to wget. IMO , it is the best downloader available.pity it is not a GUI ;( regards cheedu On Tue, 19 Sep 2000, Helgi Örn wrote:
