[opensuse] Looking for a php5-module RPM spec file
Hi, I was wondering if any of you know where can I get hold of source rpms for any php5-<module> . Eg php5-gd.src.rpm or similar. I just want to build a package for my use and I need to see an example. Thanks On the other hand, is there a repository I can contribute my RPMS to... something similar to "Cooker" of Mandriva distro? Jeffery: such spec does not exists, all the officilaly supported modules micro.packages derives from a single spec file php5.spec. I can assure the module you want to build is already available here: http://ftp-1.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/server:/php:/extensions/ and if it is not, tell me to add it right away.

Thanks Cristian. I was after the php-APC which I have found at: http://ftp-1.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/server:/php:/extensions/serve... I know to download them and install, but it would be neater if I can add it as a repository. Do you know what URL I should be adding into zypper ? cheers, Jeffery -- Internet Vision Technologies Ph +61 3 9723 9399 Fx +61 3 9723 4899

zypper -v sa http://ftp-1.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/server:/php:/extensions/serve... alyhough this packages are compiled against PHP5 from the server:php project. to get packages compiled against the official PHP5 packages included in the distribution you have to use http://ftp-1.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/server:/php:/extensions/openS... btw.. I wont reccommend APC for now, I suggest you to install the php5-xcache package that is more stable.
