Folks- I have a SuSE 9.0 install and at some point fairly recently the Yast RPM database began showing zero packages installed on my system. kpackage works as expected, but the Yast db is hosed. I've been looking for the way to rebuild it but have come up empty so far. Should I reinstall the yast packager or package-manager module? TIA

Have you tried to remove all installtion-sources in Yast and then add them again? At least for me, when there is no installation-source, Yast does not show any packages available, so one might think that there is no DB either. Sven

Thanks Sven- I have not tried that yet but I certainly will give it a shot. Thanks for the idea there. Kevin
