SUSE are listed as running an open mail relay - I can't believe it
Hello all, Seems that at least 3 of us have stopped receiving the list, and my ISP has said that they are grey-listing, without being too specific. I have gone to: http://www.ordb.org/lookup/ and entered lists.suse.com and found that it had been added to the open relay database at 2004-01-09 17:02 GMT [which corresponds well with my last email from the list at 17:14]. Can anyone verify if it is true that SUSE really are running an open mail relay? regards Vince Littler

Yep, I noticed that Saturday morning just after midnight when I saw suse.com in the REJECTed list of pflogsumm. See my mail with Subject "Oops: ORDB" Luckely I don't depend on an ISP for my mail, so silencing a DNLbl is easy enough.
Can anyone verify if it is true that SUSE really are running an open mail relay?
Not easily I think. They're running Qmail, which is a fscking PITA to configure 100% correctly, not to mention it's inability to work as the user intends instead of how DJB thinks it should work.
