Hello List
- is it possible to adjust Tumbleweed, to effect a transition from 32 bit to 64 bit architecture ?
I have done it once on Mandriva; it required installing 64 bit kernel first (ignore any missing dependencies), rebooting - 32 bit user space still works - and then gradually replacing everything with 64 bit versions starting with glibc (but of course keep 32 libraries until everything is updated). May be it is possible to perform offline update from DVD. I have never tried it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
