The version of NetHack included in SuSE 8.2 is 3.4.0, which is actually kind of old. I can get an official binary from nethack.org, but it's not packaged the same way as the SuSE model, with its multiple user interfaces and the common files. Has anyone made RPMs of 3.4.2 following the SuSE model, or should I just use the official binary until 9.0 comes out?

I've just built some for you, might be some hours before they're actually synced to the ftp server: ftp://ftp.suse.com:/pub/people/mmj/8.2/nethack-common-3.4.2-35.i586.rpm ftp://ftp.suse.com:/pub/people/mmj/8.2/nethack-3.4.2-35.i586.rpm ftp://ftp.suse.com:/pub/people/mmj/8.2/nethack-qt-3.4.2-35.i586.rpm ftp://ftp.suse.com:/pub/people/mmj/8.2/xnethack-3.4.2-35.i586.rpm ftp://ftp.suse.com:/pub/people/mmj/8.2/gnomehack-3.4.2-35.i586.rpm -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogical, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A.
