Graphics users, Anyone with experiences with graphics tablets here? I am looking for some info on what tablets you have and the difficulty in setting it up. Anyone with a Wacom Intous 3 tablet? From what information I have could gather, it seems to be a good one and supported by Linux? I had a client who had a Wacom graphic tablet. I feared the installation, but was totally surprised when everything worked as advertized. Unfortunatetly, I don't which model it was. So mark one success from me. Jerry On Monday 20 December 2004 03:33, BandiPat wrote:

I've been using a Wacom Graphire since the 2.2 kernel series with no problems. It works better than with windows and gimp can recognise whether you're using the mouse or pen and even react to the pen pressure. Setup is fairly straightforward though I had to swap mouse buttons on the wacom mouse (probably not a problem now) and have always chnaged the names used in /etc[/X11]/X86config so that the names seen by gimp made a bit more sense. -- JDL
I have a Toshiba TabletPC that uses the Wacom digitizer and that works with SuSE.
