well since the latest kernel, on 3 occasions I've inserted a usb stick (1 occasion a usb zip drive) selected files to delete, hit the confirm button - machine frozen, keyboard and mouse frozen. on reset KDE starts to load then goes to the background splash screen, and no further, Gnome and all other widow manager will start. I need to delete/move .kde losing all my settings :( also when I do a make cloneconfig it stops immediately can't find file arch/i686/Kconfig On Thu, 2004-06-24 at 10:21, Jan Joosten wrote:

PLEASE do not send html email to the list. On Thu, 2004-06-24 at 05:59, David Thom wrote: linux user since 1994 SuSE user since 1998 (5.2)
I had problems recently, also having sent an email to the list reporting it. I did not have access more the contents of the CD's and I did not have access more scanner (kooka and others crashes). Last night, after install from new instalation, I try once again to do the updates, and I do with no problems. I do the updates for parts, being the kernel the last update. Good luck Thadeu On Thursday 24 June 2004 00:03, Preston Crawford wrote:
