I seem to have a problem. I have installed Suse 6.3, with/and Netscape 4.7 I am running fvwm2 as window manager, but this applies to KDE as well. The problem is that I am unable to change the fonts in Netscape (even the size). I like to run my desktop in a large resolution (1600x1200) but the font displayed in Netscape in barely readable. The choices Increase/decrease font in the view-menu are disabled, and any changes made to font in the prefernces-dialog are not reflected in the browser. I have searched the Suse support-db on several ke3ywords, without any luck. Has anyone got any tips here. F In preferences, under fonts, set your font size to 18 or even 24 AND select 'use my fonts overriding document ' or something like that. It works , but there may be a better sol'n

I had similar problems with Netscape, but solved it by changing the font paths in your XF86Config file. Since you are using a high res. screen put the 100dpi fonts before the 75dpi fonts and then you should see a dramatic improvement in the Netscape fonts.
