Installing 32bit on a 64bit machine from DVD
Hi guys, I want to install 32bit SUSE on my 64bit notebook. If I install from the DVD, it automatically installs 64bit. Is there a way to tell it to install 32bit? A boot parameter maybe? Thanks Hans

Yes, a boot parameter - press F3 for the extended menu and then F5 (or F6?) to turn the 64-bit into 32-bit, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
