If not everything is completely hosed, the repo should be back online for all variants from 10.3 to 11.2. I hope the FTP server is not doing those nasty tricks on my ever again :) (well, it did so for the first time in almost 3 years I maintain the repo.. so not too bad). Carlos, stream-of-consciousness can be a nice artform, and there have been some highly successful novels written in the style - but in emails it is nearly always confusing The problem was solved. Say that clearly and early in the email, to avoid confusion and wasted effort by others who, like me, tried to follow the logs and output you pasted in there, only to find at the end that there was nothing left to solve Thanks Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I don't know that you are talking about. stream-of-consciousness? wasthat? You are free not to read my emails.

Impossible, AFAIK that would be ilegal. libdvdcss is on opensuse controlled servers? On http://opensuse-community.org/Restricted_Formats/11.2 it says the repo for videolan is http://suse.linuxin.dk/repo/11.2 (which does not work), but in this thread it says instead http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/SuSE/11.2/, which works (last time I tried, yesterday). Which one is the correct one, the documented one or the other? - -- Cheers, Carlos E. I honestly have no idea who and why linuxin.dk was ever ever put on as the 'official' videolan repo. The only one maintained is at download.videolan.org/pub/vlc/SuSE/<version> (same info can be found on http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-suse.html including 1-click-YMPs for the various openSUSE versions.
