I get these same messages with SuSE 7.1, kernel 2.4.0-SMP-64Gb on an Abit BP6 dual celeron machine. By any chance do you notice the clock on your machine losing time? I lose over 5 minutes per week on my duallie, but my single CPU machine is right on within a few seconds. David A. Riggs
