[opensuse] Bluetooth Printing
Hi All! I looking for information on both the hardware and process of printing from Linux using Bluetooth. There is a list of hardware on holtmann.org, but so far all of the printers or printer adapters listed are either no longer available or list only support for Windows or Mac. We all know that just because the vendor does not explicitely list Linux, it does not mean it won't work. So, I am curious as to what success people have had and with what products. Any info is appreaciated. Regards, jimmo -- --------------------------------------- "Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation. I don't know about the hardware. For the process of printing via bluetooth, you need additionally to the "normal" CUPS system (e.g. spooler and printer drivers) a special CUPS backend which can send the printer-specific data via bluetooth to the printer. This CUPS backend is /usr/lib[64]/cups/backend/bluetooth in the RPM package "bluez-cups".
