Subject: Configuring X on an IBM ThinkPad
Hi, All,
Have just installed SuSE 6.4 on an IBM ThinkPad 600C.
Encountered a problem configuring the X server using sax.
Sax is unable to use the entire display (1024/768) and is
only restricted to a small 640x480 area in the middle of the
display. Only the top left 640x480 of the sax window are
visible and the rest, clipped, rendering the controls in the
window inaccessable.
Is there anyway to make sax usable in 640x480 mode or
get linux to use the entire display (currently, even the
shell operates restricted to the 640x480 area in the middle)??
Can anyone help me here?
Many thanks in advance.
