What I've missed? Second: with my Compaq Presario laptop, to work with network I must do "ifconfig eth0 up" as root after I've booted the system. My pcmcia network card is correctly recognized and configured, but to work with it I must do the ifconfig command or use the SuSEPlugger applet (as root) to "insert" it. How can I do it automatically without pass through the root user? Last: with Debian Irda and pcmcia works fine. Thanks in advance Stefano
