Does SuSE have any good curve fitting package (spline, b-spline, quartic, etc...) ?? Thank you. MEM
If not, why not just write one? You can find the algorithms in just about any algorithm text..

Does SuSE have any good curve fitting package (spline, b-spline, quartic, etc...) ?? Some others have also answered, but just about any package you may be using on Unix should be available under Linux. You might check out Mathworks: http://www.mathworks.com/products/splines/tryit.shtml
http://www.geocities.com/mdcaero/index2.html
There are a few more, many are commercial.

Depending on the dataset size you might be able to just use gnuplot. Otherwise, R, octave, etc. See http://sal.kachinatech.com/ for more. -- -ckm
