After some checking, it was included with SuSE 9.1, strangely enough in the hwinfo package, but wasn't in SuSE 9.3, apparently having been replaced by hwinfo. I can't say if it was present in SuSE 9.2 as I don't have a running 9.2 system available to look at any more, and the installation media is out of the way.
