Same problem but occurs only occasionally, experiencing vertical scroll bar flickering and with Konqueror nonresponsive. Running 800 MHz Celeron with GeForce256 on KDE 2.2.1 with nvidia driver that upgrades automatically from YOU. I too have had this problem in the past, though it has not happened for a while. The main problem I have now is when I first login, the Konqueror windows are really sluggish & freeze when copying / pasting. What seems to fix this is killing the sluggish / frozen windows as the occur & then after a few times it all comes good. Strange indeed!!
