Hi all, When logging out and shutting down my system, I get a Segmentation Error, just after it brings the system down to Runlevel 0. Right at the very end of the shutdown process, I see this. Don't remember when it started or why and it doesn't seem to be disrupting the system, but I wouldn't think it is a good thing either? I have run fsck & e2fsck to check the hard drive for any errors and there seem to be none or bad blocks, so I am at a loss! Thoughts, suggestions? end of line Tracer -- ---KMail 1.3--- SuSE Linux v7.2--- Registered Linux User #225206 /tracerb@sprintmail.com/ *Magic Page Products* *Team Amiga* http://home.sprintmail.com/~tracerb
hi tracer, maybe some wired APM stuff ?? could be that apm is in ther kernel, but not enabled in the bios ?? or, that the apm isnt that compatible with linux ?? after shutting down and comming to runlevel 0 linux would switch off the computer via apm, if enabled ..... just a thought .... greets, chris Am Montag, 3.
